St. Louis-based strategy and creative agency UPBrand today announced it would change its name to UPBrannabis as it makes a strategic pivot into the fast-growing cannabis industry.
“We had a good run as UPBrand: 13 years, great teams, great clients. I think we even got some awards,” said Jeff Insco, President and Executive Creative Director. “But looking toward the future, it was clear that we needed to get higher. You know, with our aspirations.”
Now as UPBrannabis, the agency looks forward to applying its proven approach in branding, digital marketing and advertising to an entirely new product category. With a client roster including several leading brands in the spirits category, UPBrannabis knows how to navigate tightly regulated markets and turn out award-winning work.
“If there’s anything we learned from the spirits business, it’s that things move fast,” said McKenzie Telthorst, VP of Brand Management. “The cannabis space is developing quickly, and we have the team and the experience to help blaze a trail.”
