Klogs

Challenge
Klogs Footwear had built a product that works in extreme environments: contoured, slip-resistant shoes designed for people spending long hours on their feet. A deep dive into SKU performance told the real story: their top sellers were dominating in healthcare and hospitality, worn by professionals who needed every advantage a shoe could offer.
The brand wasn’t showing up that way. Klogs was presenting as a generic comfort shoe in a crowded category, underselling its own utility to the exact audience already buying it. And while wholesale remained essential, direct-to-consumer e-commerce was largely untapped, leaving margin, relationships and scalable digital growth on the table.

Solution
Consumer behavior analysis and SKU performance confirmed what the sales were already saying: Klogs belonged in the professional workplace, owned by the people who live on their feet. From that insight came a new positioning and tagline: Feel Better. Work Better. Live Better.
Built around the human truth that a pain-free workday gives professionals the energy to actually enjoy what comes after it.
Creative campaigns drew direct parallels between the qualities of healthcare workers – caring, resilient, supportive, trusted – and the performance features of the shoe itself. Scenario-driven photography brought real clinical environments to life rather than relying on studio approximations.
Every touchpoint got reconsidered. Retail packaging became a brand moment: the tagline printed under the box flap, turning an unboxing into a small surprise. The e-commerce site was re-platformed from the ground up for streamlined navigation, optimized checkout, fewer places for high-intent buyers to drop off. A full-funnel digital ad engine ran across Facebook, paid search and retargeting, moving healthcare and hospitality professionals smoothly toward conversion.
Ongoing social kept the brand in the right conversations: Nurses Week campaigns, trade show activations, and line extensions like All-Day-Comfort Compression Socks that deepened relevance with the core audience.
