Annual Thanksgiving Meal Drive

As federal SNAP benefits pause, many families in St. Louis are left wondering how they’ll put food on the table this Thanksgiving. Many are still recovering from the devastating May 16 EF3 tornado, which destroyed homes and disrupted lives across our city.

St. Louis shows up — sharing food, offering kindness, and standing together. This Thanksgiving, UPBrand is partnering with The Love Mission to collect food for local families, so no one has to face the holiday on an empty stomach. We’re inviting friends and organizations to donate a curated box that provides a family with a full Thanksgiving meal. Together, we hope to provide meals for at least 30 families in our community.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Join the drive solo or rally your friends, family, or coworkers to help.
  2. Choose one of the two pre-made shopping lists and start collecting items.
  3. Once your meal box is complete, bring it to our office by November 17, 2025, or send us a DM and we’ll come pick it up.
  4. We’ll gather all donated boxes and deliver them to The Love Mission, who will distribute the meals to local families in need.
Large Box — Feeds 5–8 people and includes these items: 2 boxes instant mashed potatoes, 2 boxes stuffing mix, 2 cans cranberry sauce, 4 cans green beans, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 2 boxes fried onions, 2 packets or jars gravy mix, 2 boxes cornbread or biscuit mix, 2 cans sweet potatoes or yams, 1 bag marshmallows, 2 boxes macaroni and cheese, 1 large dessert mix 2 quarts shelf-stable or evaporated milk 1 bag rice or pasta $25+ Gift card for Turkey Small Box — Feeds 2–4 people. These are the items for the box: 1 box instant mashed potatoes, 1 box stuffing mix, 1 can cranberry sauce, 2 cans green beans, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 box fried onions, 1 packet or jar turkey gravy mix, 1 box cornbread or biscuit mix, 1 can sweet potatoes or yams, 1 bag marshmallows, 1 box macaroni and cheese, 1 dessert mix , 1 quart shelf-stable milk or evaporated milk, $25+ Gift card for Turkey

Can’t make a box?

No problem! We’ll also accept partial donations to help round out meals or monetary donations. All monetary donations can be made directly to The Love Mission and will be spent on food items for families. Just add “UPBrand Thanksgiving” in the comment box. No donation is too small — whether it’s $5 to cover a dessert or $50 to fill a small box, every contribution helps feed a local family.
